Hardware Description Language (HDL)

Electronics
- Skilled in working with modern digital systems such as micro-controllers (e.g., Atmel, ARM, and PIC) and FPGAs (e.g., Xilinx Spartan 3E®, Altera® Cyclone® II).
- Has worked extensively with various types of sensors, including, but not limited to: Analog/digital accelerometers, analog gyroscopes, and ultrasonic proximity sensors.
- Has experience in working with PID and other types of feedback controllers.
- Capable of biasing and designing discrete BJT amplifiers.

- Capable of PWM circuit design, and PWM signal processing.
- Skilled in wiring abilities for prototyping, including knowledge of wiring conventions (i.e., proper gauge based on amperage) as well as wire organization.
Mechanical
- Has both personally and assisted in the design and creation of various ground robots for the FIRST Robotics Championship, with particular emphasis on drive systems, and pneumatic systems.
- Has studied the basics of heat transfer by conduction, convection and radiation.
Language
- Native English speaker.
- Has intermediate knowledge of the Japanese Language with particular emphasis in reading and writing.
- Has intermediate knowledge of the Spanish Language.
